PORT HURON, MI – Thomas R. Stein, 75, of Port Huron, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 with his family by his side.

He was born October 23, 1945 in Port Huron to the late John and Ina Stein. He married Kathy Sheffer on January 30, 1971 in Port Huron. They
would have celebrated their 50th anniversary this week.

Thomas graduated from Port Huron High School in 1963. After graduating, he went on to serve in the United States Navy during Vietnam. After
serving his country, Thomas was the Londons Farm Dairy plant manager until they closed. He worked at Dunn Paper for a short time and then
went on to work at MDOT on the Blue Water Bridge until his retirement. He enjoyed boating and spending summers at the cottage. His heart
was his family and he was always willing to lend a helping hand in any capacity. Losing him leaves a gaping hole in all our lives.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Kathy; children, Angela (James) Radatz, Gerald (Stacie) Stein and Robert (Christina) Stein; nine
beautiful grandchildren that were the pride of his life, James Thomas, Alyson Christine, Jana Elizabeth and Aimee Jacquelyn Radatz, Zachary
Adam, Madeline Louise, Natalie Grace, Vittoria Patricia and Elijah Thomas Stein; a brother, Robert (Joyce) Stein; brothers-in-law, Gerald
Sheffer and Ronald (Bernadette) Sheffer; mother-in-law, Joyce Sheffer; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his
brother, John; and father-in-law, Robert Sheffer.

Visitation will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Sunday, January 31, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home. A limited number of people will
be allowed in at a time. Please wear a mask for the safety and comfort of others.

Private services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 1, 2021 in the Marysville Funeral Home. Family and friends may view
the service livestream on Thomas’s obituary page of the funeral home website. The Reverend Drew Hart will officiate.

Burial will be in Kinney Cemetery, Clyde Township. Military honors will be conducted under the auspices of the U.S. Navy and the St.
Clair County Allied Veterans Honor Guard.

Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church.
