A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 30, 2018 in Griswold Street Baptist Church. Dr. Timothy North will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. A luncheon will follow the memorial service.

Judy will be interred next to Dale in Allied Veterans Cemetery, Port Huron, with close family in attendance.

Judith Kay "Judy" Jurk, 73, of Port Huron, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday. November 6, 2018.

She was born May 14, 1945 in Port Huron to the late Maurice and Ethyl Menerey. She married Dale Jurk (also a classmate) on June 17, 1967 in Port Huron. Dale preceded he in death on December 22, 2017.

Judy graduated from Port Huron High School in 1963 and from Easter Michigan University in 1967. She worked as an occupational therapist for the State of Michigan and was a longtime member of the Griswald Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by a son, Col (Ret,) David (Dr, Melissa) Jurk; a daughter, Wendy (Chris) Collins; six grandchildren, Dekota (Garet) Parker, Dalton Collins, and Ethan, Evan, Emily and Eli Jurk; a great granddaughter, Clara Parker; a sister, Sally Ward; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2018 at Griswold Street Baptist Church with. visitation one hour prior to the service. Dr. Timothy North will officiate.

Memorial contributions may be made to Griswold Street Baptist Church.
